The Sixth Quaker heritage series is a series of talks and discussions aimed at examining Quaker history, theology, testimonies, and identity. I hope that this will be an opportunity for us to discover what Quakers believe, how they have expressed their witness, and what it means for us to be Quakers. The Series will run for ten weeks at Friends House, Toorak, Victoria, and will cover parts or all of nine books. Our focus this will be on Variations in and unity of Quaker beliefs. This will include a look at the theology and practice of Friends during the early period, Restoration, Quietism, splits within Quakerism and efforts to heal them, Mission and Service, Richmond Declaration, Manchester Conference, Rowntree Series, Joseph John Gurney, John Wilbur, David B. Updegraff, J. Walter Malone, Hannah and Joel Bean, John Wilhelm Rowntree, Rufus Jones, Henry Cadbury, Hannah Whitall Smith, Rendell Harris, William Littleboy, Thomas Kelly, Everett Cattell, and Arthur Roberts.
